Sunday Mornings

Nursery (Ages 0 - 3)

With large windows and ample toys, our nursery is an inviting place for infants and toddlers alike! Even with our littlest ones, we delight in sharing God's word by reading Bible stories from God Loves Me by Faith Alive, and through songs, games, activities, crafts, and free play.

Please visit our check in desk to register and get a name badge, then join us in this fun and safe environment! The Nursery is staffed by congregational volunteers on a rotating basis who have CORI checks as required by our Safe Church Policy.

KidStreet (Age 4 - Grade 2)

We invite families to worship together at the beginning of our services. Then, after a time of worship, confession, and passing the peace to one another, children ages 4-2nd grade are dismissed to KidStreet downstairs. Using Dwell by Faith Alive, we actively engage kids in God's story using interactive games, reflective wonderings, storytelling, and a whole lot of fun!

Prior to the service, please register and get a name tag at the check in desk – parent pick up downstairs after the service.

Echo (Grades 3 - 5)

Young students in grades 3 through 5 are encouraged to remain in worship for the duration of the service, and learn, together with their parents, grandparents and siblings, what it means to engage with the church and gain instruction from God through listening and partaking in the sermon. Immediately after the sermon on non-Lord's Supper Sundays, these students are then invited downstairs to reflect on what they noticed during the service and build a relationship with the Elders. Echo is 15 minutes long and typically finishes around the same time the service concludes.

We have been amazed to see how much students understand from the "adult" message, and gain from being part of the larger body of Christ early on in life!

MidWeek

MidWeek is our Family Faith formation night! Typically every other Wednesday throughout the school year, families gather for a delicious Pasta Bar dinner at 5:30pm, and then break off into age-appropriate discipleship groups for the remainder of the evening (from 6:30-8pm).

G.E.M.S. Girls Club (Girls in Grades 1-5)

Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior

Part of a large network of GEMS Clubs throughout the world, the PSCRC GEMS Club seeks to equip girls to live radically faithful lives. Our purpose statement comes from a verse in the Bible: What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

At GEMS Clubs girls are loved, seen, and mentored by volunteer Counselors from our congregation. A typical GEMS meeting involves a large group Bible study, activity or craft, and small group faith discussions.

Cadets  (Boys in grades 1-5)

Calvinist Cadet Corps

The goal of Cadets is to help boys grow more Christlike in all areas of life, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52). Our motto is “Living for Jesus” and our club is open to boys from any church as well as those searching for one or those simply wanting to learn more. Our club is run along with the Fairlawn church and organized by the Calvinist Cadet Corp, an independent youth organization in the Reformed tradition.

At Cadets, counselors work side-by-side with the boys on Bible lessons, service & craft projects, outdoor activities--camping, hiking, kayaking, etc.--also working on merit badges selected from a wide range of interests and skills (Fire Building, Archery, First Aid, Axemanship, Devotions, Giving, Individual Sports, Music, Computer Knowledge, etc).
