Our Purpose Statement
- Inward: to be a church where people of all generations and backgrounds each take personal responsibility to forgive, encourage, and respect one another out of reverence for Christ.
- Outward: to be a church that is trusted and valued by the community for its service and commitment to those in need, and that speaks and lives the gospel in a way that is attractive and intelligible to those who watch and listen from outside its walls.
- Upward: to be a church that trusts and celebrates the free grace of God in Christ as the only ground of life, purpose, meaning, and merit. Out of response to that grace, we strive to excel in all God calls us to do and to be, always looking to him as our only hope and resource.
- Downward: to be a church that lives on its knees, setting prayer, worship, service, and self-sacrifice as its bedrock priorities, always practicing these with increasing faithfulness and humility.
- Withward: to be a church where the “least of these”, whomever that might be, is loved and protected. To be a church where patience, wisdom, grace, and discipline all harmonize to unite its members into one body to the glory of Christ.

What We Believe
We believe that all
people need Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for eternal life.
Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our sin, was raised
from the dead, and gives eternal salvation to everyone who believes
in Him.
We believe that the
Bible is God's Word to us, and that it proclaims the complete message
of salvation. The Bible is therefore the central focus of all our
ministries. We are constantly learning what the Bible is teaching
us and how we can best honor God by living and sharing these truths.
We believe
in the Kingdom of God, that Jesus Christ is the King and his rule
extends over all areas of our life: work, family, school,
business, recreation, government and all other social institutions.
