Worcester Area

| 1.) |
Take
Rt. 146 South (either from Mass Pike, Rt. 20,
or Rt. 290 S). |
| 2.)
|
Follow
Rt. 146 South (for about 7.5 miles from Rt. 20 interchange)
and get off at
the Purgatory Chasm/Road exit.

| 3.) |
At
the end of the off ramp - take a left onto Purgatory Road
and pass over Rt. 146. |
| 4.) |
Follow
Purgatory Road - which will turn into North Main Street. |
| 5.)
|
At the end of North Main Street
- you will stop and cut across/merge onto Main Street. |
6.) |
Follow Main St. past large industrial buildings
on right to large four-way intersection. Stay to the right at
intersection. After you go through the intersection, go through
a second set of lights [with green arrow], forking to the right.
This is now Linwood Avenue. |
7.) |
Continue down Linwood Avenue until you come to your first
left hand turn (about 1/5 mile). |
8.) |
Take that left turn onto Cross Street. (If
you pass the Northbridge Middle school and large athletic field
on left, you went too far.) The church parking lot is on the
right about 1/8 mile. Take a right after "Community Activities"
/ "Coffee Break" sign into parking area. Entrance
is on the right under overhang. |

the South Shore

1.)
|
Take
495 N to exit 17, Rt. 140 Franklin. At the end of the ramp
- take a left at the lights and go onto overpass (passing
back over 495) and come to your first set of lights.

2.)
|
From
here — follow Rt. 140 all the way until you reach a
set of lights at the junction/intersection of Rt. 16. in
Milford.
(Milford/Whitinsville Regional Hospital should be across the
intersection on the right.)

|
3.)
|
Take a left at lights
onto Rt. 16 W. and continue to stay on Rt. 16 W. until you
reach Uxbridge Center (traffic light intersection) just after
passing a waterfall on right and under a railroad bridge.

|
4.)
|
Take a right at the
lights onto Rt. 122 N. and then go straight through the next
set of lights immediately following. (DO NOT take a left there
onto Rt. 16 at these lights.) Stay straight on Rt. 122 N.
(N. Main St.).

5.)
|
Drive on, passing Victory Supermarket/Fleet
on left, until your next set of lights (gas station on left).
|
6.)
|
Go straight through lights and continue eventually
coming up a hill to the top of a bridge.
Near the top of bridge - slow down and take a left onto Linwood
Avenue (dangerous intersection - watch for oncoming traffic).
(DO NOT continue on past bridge past sign saying entering Northbridge.
If you did - you went too far.) You'll know you went the right
way if you see the China Pacific restaurant on your right going
down the hill. |
7.)

Continue down Linwood Avenue until you see
the school with the large athletic field/track on your right
(about 1 mile). Take your next right onto Cross Street. (If
you came to a set of lights - you went too far.) The church
parking lot is on the right about 1/8 mile. Take a right after
"Community Activities / Coffee Break" sign into parking
area. Entrance is on the right under overhang. |

the Providence, RI area

1.)

Take
Rt. 146 North into Massachusetts (at 146 & 146A split
- bear left towards Worcester, MA).
|
|
2.)
|
Follow
Rt. 146 Until you come to the Whitinsville, Lackey Dam Road
exit.
|
|
3.)
|
At the end of the off
ramp - take a Right onto Lackey Dam Road.
|
|
4.)
|
Follow Lackey Dam Road
(will turn into Doulas Rd.) until the end (several miles,
winding road) and stay to the left to go over a small bridge.
This brings you into Whitinsville Center.
|
|
5.)
|
After the small bridge is a set of
lights (large intersection). Take a right onto Main St.
|
6.)
|
Go through the second set of lights [with green
arrow], forking right. This is now Linwood Avenue. |
7.)
|
Continue down Linwood Avenue until you come
to your first left hand turn (about 1/5 mile). |
8.)
|
Take that left onto Cross Street. (If you pass
the Northbridge Middle school and large athletic field on left,
you went too far.) The church parking lot is on the right about
1/8 mile. Take a right after "Community Activities / Coffee

the Boston area

1.)
|
Take
the Mass Pike to exit 11a, Rt. 495 interchange. Bear right
after going through the toll booth and get onto Rt. 495 South.
|
|
2.)
|
Go
for approx. 3.2 miles (4-5 min.) and get off at the first
right hand exit (exit 21B) West Main Street-Upton. Stay to
the right as you exit and stay to the middle-right as you
go through the set of lights at the end of the ramp - 3 green
right arrows.

|
3.)
|
Very shortly (1/8 mile),
you will approach another set of lights at a large intersection.
Go straight through. Continue straight for the next 4.7 miles
(7-8 min.).
|

4.)
|
At the next traffic
light (Fleet Xpress machine on left and Century 21 across
intersection) is the junction of Rt. 140 in Upton. Go straight
across the intersection and follow the sign that reads "Whitinsville."
|
|
5.)
|
Continue for .7 mile (1 min.), Maple
Rd., passing a cemetery on the left till the end of road and
another traffic light. Turn right at the traffic lights onto
Pleasant St.
|
6.)
|
Stay on Pleasant St (winding road) for approx.
2.4 miles (3 min.). You will pass a rock wall and small cemetery
on your right as you take a right hand turn onto Church St.
Extenson. There will be a sign that says Northbridge Business
District - Rt. 122. |
7.)
|
Go approximately .6 mile to your next set of
lights. Stay to the right at intersection. This is the junction
of Rt. 122 (Burger King across the intersection. Go straight
across onto Church St. (Burger King should be on you right as
you pass). |
8.)
|
Continue up the hill for approximately 1.1
miles (1-2 min.) to your next set of lights. Take a left at
this intersection. This is Cross St. |
9.)
|
You will see the light tan-colored stone church
across a large parking lot. There will be a green sign at the
corner. Pass the church sign and take a left into the parking
lot. The entrance is under the overhang. |
